Samen met de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen en het Landelijk Coördinatiepunt Research Data Management, organiseert SURFacademy een Engelstalig symposium over het verantwoord mogelijk maken van Open Science.
De congreswebsite meldt: “The benefits of open science have been and recognized. Now is the time for action. During the symposium, we will analyse the initial findings regarding the EU Open Data Pilot and consider the practical barriers to open science in the context of privacy by design. We will listen to the lessons learned from current research practices regarding responsible use of research data and securing privacy aspects. Together we will discuss and define the Open Science Action Program”.
